Leaving for World Dairy Expo!

Hi!


Tomorrow we'll be leaving for World Dairy Expo, in Madison, Wisconsin.
This will be Tys' first time on a plane (except for when he was in my belly ofcourse!)
We're very excited and busy getting everything ready. Rudi on the dairy and me in the house. Doing some laundry and packing the bags. There is a lot more stuff to bring now that we have a baby! But... it's worth it, it will be a lot of fun!

Other than that we've been pretty busy, it seems like there's always something going on and there's lots of things to do!
Tys is eating some solids now too and he's doing very well. He turned six months this past Wednesday. His 6 month check up and immunizations will be next Thursday.
He is such a blessing. Always happy, and almost never complains about anything! Such a sweet boy.

Yesterday we took him with us to dinner and the movies. Rudi teaches Sundayschool and the kids he taught last year went out with us, because they had done all the memory work Rudi had told them to do!
We went to Pizza Hut, Cold Stone and to the movies. It was a lot of fun!

Tys is learning every day!

Hi everybody!

Tys is learning so much!
He started rolling over from back to belly and back!!!
He spends more time on his belly now, he's having a lot of fun doing that!
Also he's learning how to sit up still! He's getting better at it. I use my boppy pillow to support him, that works really well.
I've been feeding him some fruit and cereal, and he loves it! He sleeps for 12 hours during the night, from 8 to 8!
Rudi and me are doing well also, Rudi's just been busy on the dairy. I still help him every now and then. It's fun working together, and Tys comes with us in the stroller, and he loves being outside, looking at the cows!
It's been nice and warm here, but it's starting to get cooler a little bit every day which is nice. the mornings and nights are nice and cool. During the day it's still around 80. We haven't had rain for a long long time! I don't even remember the last time it rained!
The corn is getting nice and tall! and the new freestall barn is getting close to done!
