Tys 10 months

Tys is 10 months!
I remember everybody telling me, when I was pregnant, "enjoy it, because they grow up so fast and times go by so fast!". It is now that I realize that is really true! (Not that I didn't believe them when they told me that)
He is already 10 months! I can not believe how fast he has grown and how much he has learned! But most of all, how I just love him more every day! I did not know how much you would and could love your own child! He is an amazing gift to us, and we truly enjoy him every day! He is so much fun, he crawls now and he already has 6 teeth! He is a very sweet boy!
Here is some pictures, from when he was newborn till now. One picture for every month.

Cute picture of Tys and my belly

Hi!

I just wanted to share this cute picture of Tys touching my belly with you!
Rudi just took it today!
I am exactly 17 weeks today.
We went to our Dr. on Monday and we heard our little one's heartbeat! It's so fascinating and just a miracle! He or she sounded like he/she was doing really well!

There are two of Anne's sisters expecting! Sietske is due the middle of February and Aly the middle of March.

Then there is Miriam as you already knew I'm sure. She is due 10 days before me. And the last sister in law that is expecting is Molly! She is due August 8!

So as of right now there are 4 of our sisters (in law) expecting babies! Including me, that's 5!!!

Now we'll have to see who has the first "De Winkle Girl"!!!

The race is on!!!

Home again...

After a long, long journey and a sad goodbye to the family, we arrived home Tuesday morning early at 1.30 am.
There was a lot of snow at home!! But now it's all melting and turning into a big mess!
The same day we came home, I went to the doctor with Tys, because he had an earinfection, poor guy... Now he's on antibiotics and doing a lot better! Today I'm going to the doctor with him again, this time for his 9 month check up!

We had such a good time in Holland, and it went by way too fast! It's hard to say goodbye to the family and also not knowing when we will see them again. Some of my siblings are thinking of visiting us sometime this year! I hope they will be able to come!

Here are some more pictures from our trip;

These are frikadel, my very favorite snack in Holland!! It's delicious!!!! (And very fattening...)
