Well, this morning the cast was taken off. It took about 20 minutes and it was a very traumatic experience for Tys. He did not want the cast off. He was so used to it!
He calmed down when the cast was off, and once he was back in his wheelchair.
He's doing pretty good with his legs now, they're very stiff of course. But he's already straightening them!
I think it's a little scary for him still. But he's already had a bath, and was able to relax his legs in the water. The Dr. said that it might take up to four weeks for him to walk normally.
Let's pray it won't take that long!

You can still see where the fracture was. The Dr. was very pleased with how it looks!

yippee! I bet it feels incredible un- supported and weird to poor Tys. Here's to a speedy recovery! Kids are a lot faster at healing. After Bryce's cast he was using it like normal within a day or two.
