Tys and Logan!

The weather has been so nice here! Today it got to be almost 60 degrees! So I decided to take Tys and Logan for a walk on the dairy in the wagon!
As soon as I put them in they seemed to be sooo excited! They thought the wagon was totally cool! And then when I took them outside, they seemed so happy! It was really cute to see! They both had the biggest smiles on their faces!
When Tys smiles, Logan starts smiling too, and the other way around. It's really funny. They get along so well!
They saw all the animals on the dairy, the cows, pigs, chickens, calves and the dogs! And they also saw the little tractor, that was really cool! They had so much fun. After the walk they both went down for a nap at the same time! They've been sleeping for an hour now....!

Our little baby

Here are some pictures of the ultrasound from last week.
We were supposed to go in on Wednesday, but the Dr. had to do a delivery, so the appointment got canceled.. I was pretty disappointed as I was looking so forward to seeing the baby!
Thankfully they could schedule me the very next day!

So on Thursday we went to take a look at the baby. It was after opening hours, so Dr. Julie took a long time with the ultrasound (I think it was 45 minutes!!) It was so much fun to see the little baby swimming around! He/she looks great, and everything seems to be normal, so we're very thankful for that!

I'm already 22 weeks, and I just can't believe how fast the time goes!
Tys is going to be 1 next month! That's just crazy!!!

The other news is that the cows are in the new freestall! Since last week Thursday. It looks beautiful and the cows seem to be very comfortable now that it's not quite as crowded. They have more space to eat and walk around now.

Other than that we are waiting for my sister in law, Sietske, to have her baby!! She was sue on Sunday...! Can't take that much longer now!

We'll keep you posted!

a little "dairy-update"

I thought I'd post some pictures of (Tys on) the dairy!
Tys loves coming out with Rudi and me. He has a very nice stroller and he loves to sit in it and watch us work and watch all the cows! You can already tell that Tys loves being around animals. He also loves dogs, birds, pigs, cats, chickens...!

I thought this was a funny picture. The little heifers are all so curious to see what's going on.

The new freestall!!! It's almost done. Maybe today or tomorrow the cows will go in it!!!

This is a cute movie of Tys and Logan in the little bath-tub. They both love to take baths! Aren't they cute???

Tomorrow we have our Ultrasound-appointment! We're very excited and we hope that everything looks ok. We're not going to find out what we're having.
I'll let you know how it went, and maybe I'll post some ultrasound pictures!

halfway!

I'm 20 weeks pregnant today! I can't believe I'm halfway already! It goes by really fast. As of Saturday I can finally really feel the baby, before that I could kind of feel it, but wasn't really sure about it! Next week we'll have our 20-week ultrasound, but we're not going to find out what we're having!

My oldest sister in Holland, Margriet, is expecting another baby, which means that 4 of us in the "de Vries" family are expecting. Sietske is due on Valentine's day! So we're getting pretty excited to see what they're having!

We've had a fun week. Dirk, Molly and Arie came to stay with us! That was so much fun!
We all went to an auction in Melba on Saturday. We didn't buy anything though :)

I'll have to post a picture of my belly soon, I'm finally starting to show now.

Hope you have a great (rest of the) week!
